Jordan Vauvert Ce que Born an Abomination a fait de mieux se trouve dans la deuxième moitié de leur courte carrière (avec Seasonal Depression et Fires in the night hour...) mais aussi au tout début : avant Suicide Garner, le duo a enregistré un nombre de chansons assez hallucinant qui se retrouvent compilées dans Nostalgia. Enregistré avec les moyens du bord, le black metal dépressif et progressif est d'une sincérité destructrice, surtout sur des pistes comme "Autumn Rain", "Beviltiškas" ou "Choking on Life". Favorite track: Beviltiškas.

Sadness n'est jamais vraiment accueillant, en tout cas pas au premier abord, surtout quand on pose les yeux sur la pochette de To have ever had, simple ligne électrique frappée par un petit éclair sur un décor jaune/orangé abstrait. Il suffira pourtant d'écouter la piste éponyme pour s'apercevoir que toute l'ambiance est posée, celle d'une tristesse majestueuse qui est en-dehors du langage. "I bloom a bridge" est encore plus mélancolique et fait bourgeonner des ponts musicaux. Une merveille ! Jordan Vauvert

every CD getting better than the previously... everything this guy do is gold..for a 42 yo hearing metal since I was 15 I can honestly say that in one year you went places in my top 5 probably 3 everything here resonates with me and makes me being hopeful of the days/weeks ahead. you are a bright star on my night. thank you another thing. this was in 2015 so he was like 17 or 18 and already doing stuff like this? damn..
